Nexon is finally getting the hint: gamers want to see innovation and they want to know that innovation exists. While Vindictus was originally introduced to the gaming community a few years ago under the working title of Mabinogi Heroes (a sort of realistic, pseudo-sequel to the casual free-to-play MMORPG, Mabinogi) they decided to go with a name change and a slightly different marketing approach for the game’s North American debut. For the longest this highly innovative MMORPG was pretty much out of the media spotlight but things are finally changing.

Thankfully, Nexon is showcasing Vindictus at the San Diego comic convention and they’ve been releasing new character class trailers during their exhibition. The newest character trailer includes one of the Fiona Warrior class, which is sort of the typical sword-and-board tank, but with the twist that this MMO tank class can actually use the shield to hit back and counter without taking damage.

The new trailer is quite informative and very detailed in its exposition of the character’s abilities. You can check out the new trailer below or visit the Official Website to register for the closed beta.
