Free-to-play publisher gPotato announced that they have acquired a new MMO and plan to publish the game later this year. The game is a hack-and-slash MMO with an added dungeon-crawling twist tossed into the picture.

As stated in the press release...
Eternal Blade opens up a lushly animated storybook world penned by Gala Lab, creators of the beloved classic MMOs Fly for Fun and Rappelz. The colorful anime style blends seamlessly with the high action gameplay that sees players unleashing huge, powerful attacks to take down challenging bosses or whole hordes of monsters with every swing, shot, or spell.

The game will feature six different colors, the typical loot-and-grind gameplay mechanic as well as multiple routes to upgrade and customize your character. It reminds me a lot of Dragon Nest.

Right out of the gate, though, the game will sport more than 700 quests so getting bored may not be much of an option with this game...when it comes to questing anyway. There are also more than 35 different dungeons in the game enabling gamers to explore and battle their way through a number of opponents either solo or in a group.

You can check out the first trailer for the game as well as additional information about Eternal Blade by visiting the Official Website.
