Reto-Moto released a live-action trailer that features the development team poking a bit of fun at themselves while mixing the footage with actual gameplay from the FPS/RTS Heroes & Generals. The best part about the video is the two-man AA artillery guns. Classic.

With the intense theme song from Jesper Kyd playing in the background, the trailer gives a brief albeit hilarious depiction of what it's like to play out a match of Heroes & Generals. It involves real-time strategy from the Generals in the overhead map screen, as well as tactical proficiency from the Heroes actually engaged in battle on the field. Aerial attacks, tank support, additional reinforcements...all of these things can happen in real-time and can drastically change the outcome of a match. Check it out in the trailer below.

Heroes & Generals is still undergoing quite a bit of changes in beta thanks to Reto-Moto continually modifying and making changes to the game to before it goes live. Their latest modification was for a nerf on the LMG so gamers could no longer go all Rambo on the opposing team.

Still, the game is pretty wicked and the mix of first-person shooter action, mostly on the line of Brothers in Arms as opposed to something like Call of Duty, and the real-time strategy elements are very interesting as they're handled slightly different than what I was expecting.
