Looking for a little crowd-sourcing love, Matthew Cliffton's Montague's Mount has ventured toward the financially viable outlet of IndieGoGo in hopes of securing additional funding to complete the project and brush it up nice and neat.

Montague's Mount is about a journey of one man who finds himself on a desolated island, seeking answers, seeking resolve and having to deal with a traumatizing event. The game was spawned from thrillers such as Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island and The Blair Witch Project. You can see the game in action with the video from IndieGoGo below.

Cliffton isn't just settling for being crowd-sourced, though. The game has already found its way to Steam's Greenlight process, which would enable the dev to get fairly wide exposure for the title.

Gamers who have been craving the sort of mysterious, horror-themed adventure title from Golden Era of gaming, Montague's Mount is one of those games that aims to revitalize the genre.

If the game looks like something that tickles your fancy you can give it a bit of financial support over at the official IndieGoGo page. If you're interested but not willing to lay down any money, you can also support the game with a simple upvote tick over at the Steam Greenlight page.
