Creative director Ocean Quigley (and I don't think that's his real name) takes his epic mustache and gives gamers a brief waklthrough of the upcoming city construction simulator from Maxis and EA, showcasing some of the things that players can look forward to regarding the next-generation of one of the most renown and recognized brands in PC gaming.

The trailer comes courtesy of where Quigley talks up the game's diversity and ease-of-use, enabling gamers to power the city anyway they see fit, control crime with traditional means and layout the city in some unique designs. Check it out in the trailer below.

SimCity definitely looks like a fun game, it's such a shame that there's no offline single-player mode. Much like Diablo III the game will be always-on so make sure you don't have a shoddy connection or play the game while traveling or on the go.

You can look for this next-generation of SimCity to launch next year on March 8th exclusively for PC. Heck, it'd have to be exclusive to PC unless EA decided to have Maxis gimp the game down pretty badly to run at a decent framerate on consoles. To learn more feel free to visit the Official Website.
