New Iron Man 3 Stills Show A Stressed Tony Stark And A Shiny Iron Patriot

Iron Man 3 is unquestionably one of the most highly anticipated films of 2013. Even if you ignore the incredible success of The Avengers - which made $1.5 billion globally and stands as the third biggest blockbuster of all time - Tony Stark has twice shown his big box office potential and there is little doubt that he will do it again next year. As fans, we have a Pavlovian response to just about anything giving us even even the slightest new glance at the movie, and this new set of stills definitely has us drooling.

Marvel.com has posted a set of four new images from the upcoming sequel, one of which gives us our first really good look at Maya Hansen, the new character who is being played by Rebecca Hall. You can see all of the images below and head over to the source to see them in their highest resolution.

Co-written and directed by Shane Black, Iron Man 3 will be the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 2 and will feature Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) working to pick up the pieces after his world is shattered by the greatest foe he's faced yet: the terrorist leader known as the Mandarin (Sir Ben Kingsley). New acting additions to the franchise include Hall, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, William Sadler and Ashley Hamilton, while Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau, and Don Cheadle are all set to reprise their roles from previous films.
