Jennifer Lopez wants the world to know one thing: she knows how to celebrate a birthday. On social media yesterday, the actress/singer/dancer reminded her millions of followers that she's living large and in charge during this year's festivities. How exactly did she do that? By posting a beachside snapshot of herself wearing a revealing bikini, absorbing sun rays, and holding up an expensive bottle of champagne to boot -- all while being surrounded by a slew of people who were also having a damn good time. While she doesn't mention it in the Instagram photo above, Jennifer Lopez turned 49 this week, although she hardly looks a day past 25. When you got it, flaunt it, and that's exactly what JLo did for birthday celebrations with libations. The multi-hyphenate has been keeping herself busy with not only a long string of shows in Las Vegas, but a variety of film and television projects as well.

She appeared on NBC's drama Shades of Blue before the peacock network pulled the ax on the show earlier this year. The final season of the series is currently making its way on the air throughout the summer. While that well has run dry for Lopez, she's not cutting ties with NBC just yet. She's still involved with their dance competition series World of Dance, which premiered its second season in May. The actress also makes frequent appearances on Will & Grace as well, where she plays different characters, including a variation of her real-life persona. She is also signed on to play Rose Alvarez in Bye Bye Birdie Live!, although that live television event has been delayed a couple times now thanks to Lopez's constantly busy schedule. And, based on everything going on, that's definitely understandable.

Additionally, Jennifer Lopez is soon slated to return to the big screen in the upcoming comedy Second Act, which makes its way into theaters on November 21st. Whether on the stage, on the big screen, or on the small screen, you have multiple ways to see Jennifer Lopez these days. Because she's finding all these different ways to keep herself busy, she's certainly due for a nice vacation on her birthday. Apparently, JLo agrees, and she decided to live it up as she saw fit. And, we don't blame her. If we kept ourselves even half as busy as Jennifer Lopez does, we would be looking for some beach time too!
