New TV Shows For October 2019
Hulu is ready to scare horror fans across another year of thrills, as Into The Dark returns for its second season with the Halloween episode Uncanny Annie. More seasonal fun is to be had, as Castle Rock also returns to the world for a second season that draws a certain King character into a world of Misery. But if you're looking for something more bittersweet, and way less scary, John Green's YA novel Looking For Alaska starts its quest this month as well.
Parting is such sweet sorrow, as the fans of HBO's Silicon Valley are about to learn this month. The sixth and final season of creator Mike Judge's landmark comedy is going to land next month, seeing the Pied Piper gang taking their final bow. But newness is in the air too, as the network will also be delivering new sorts of excitement with shows like Miss Fletcher and the long awaited Watchmen series.
New Movies For October 2019
Horror hits Hulu's movie library pretty hard this month, as it has tons of scare-worthy titles to select from on that front as well. The big news is that Hulu has a pretty hotly anticipated original on its hands, as Little Monsters brings Lupita Nyong'o, Josh Gad and a ton of zombies together. The only problem is, they have a ton of little kids to protect in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. Thankfully for them, this is a dark comedy, so there's a chance that things might not be too rough on them after all.
Of course, there's some more traditional titles in the lineup as well, as movies like Hellraiser and What Lies Beneath are coming into Hulu's possession as well. And if you want to get a leg up on the Saw franchise's big reboot, you can watch several of that franchise's films throughout the month as well.
Before you leave this crypt of content, we have to deliver our standard warning of foreboding and availability. These titles are subject to change, so if you want to watch a specific title, make sure to check our guide for updates. Otherwise, you might find nothing more than random draft, and a werewolf's howl in the place of the film or show you want to enjoy! Have a great and/or spooky October, and we'll see you back here to go over what's headed to Hulu in November 2019!
