Big Brother's Fessy Trolls Rumored Season 22 Contestant In Video Call

Fessy Big Brother CBS

Big Brother viewers have gone to rather extreme lengths to try and determine which former contestants may or may not be competing in the rumored all-star season. It turns out they aren't the only ones searching for answers, as even some of the former players are getting in on the fun as anticipation continues to build about the CBS series with each passing day. Faysal "Fessy" Shafaat had an extra good time with that recently, and decided to troll a heavily-rumored contestant of Season 22 in a video call.

Fessy decided to ring up former Big Brother winner and current The Challenge co-star Josh Martinez to chat on Instagram. Josh seemed happy to get on the call, but the chat got ridiculous when Fessy started trolling Josh with the question on everyone's mind.

Josh Martinez told viewers not to let Fessy troll them, which may have been the only thing he could've done in the situation. If he has signed on to compete in Season 22 of Big Brother, then there may be a stipulation in his contract that prevents him from explicitly confirming he's involved in the show ahead of cast reveals. Did he dance around the question because he's not allowed to say and Fessy knew that?

Hard to say what Fessy knew, but there have been rumors for weeks that Josh Martinez (who won Season 19) will be a part of Big Brother Season 22. It may be that Fessy has read up on the rampant speculation the same as everybody else, and decided to do what he could to get to the bottom of it.

It's also worth noting that this trolling behavior benefits just about every Big Brother player at the moment, and that many have been sharing their thoughts and spreading rumors in recent weeks regardless of whether or not they're actually in the know on what's happening with Big Brother Season 22. Part of being a social media influencer (which many former players are in some regard) is keeping engagement up, and Season 22 speculation has given that to former players in spades as fans flock to them to see what they have to say.

The point being that Fessy likely knew he'd get a lot of people joining his Instagram live if he called Josh, and Josh likely knew being vague may cause people to keep a closer eye on what he is doing on social media as well. Josh Martinez could very well be a part of Big Brother Season 22, but the chances of him revealing that on another player's video livestream are slim to none. Hopefully CBS will bring this madness to an end soon, and finally reveal some details about Big Brother's upcoming season in the coming weeks.

Big Brother Season 22 is believed to be airing on CBS this summer. Continue to stick with CinemaBlend for all the latest on the reality series, and for a look at what's happening elsewhere in television and movies.
