No Big Deal, Just Kim Kardashian In A Red Bodysuit At Kanye West’s Donda Listening Party

Kim Kardashian knows how to make a big statement, particularly in her fashion choices. Whether it be a gravity-defying dress or a Dolly Parton-inspired, existential bikini pic, the reality star gets folks talking. And talk people did after newly minted pics came out of Kardashian in a red bodysuit at her soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West’s Donda album listening party.

Khloe Kardashian released the series of behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram yesterday. In them, she and her sister Kim wore matching sunglasses and leather body suits to Kanye West's listening party. The only difference was that Khloe’s was black and Kim’s was red, and they look positively, absolutely impossible to get into. I’m talking needs-a-schematic to get into. See the pics below:

I mean... how? I'm seeing zippers on these bodysuits where one doesn't normally see them. It's definitely giving Britney Spears’s “Oops!...I Did It Again” music video vibes. In terms of if it qualifies as “old Kim” style, I’d have to say no. If anything, she seems to have color-coordinated with Kanye West and style-coordinated with Khloe for the Donda listening party. No mini dresses with baseball hats to be seen.

It's interesting, though, that both Kim and Khloe Kardashian put their best faces and leather bodysuits forward for Kanye West’s event. Prior to the Donda album listening party at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium last week, it was thought that most of the Kardashians were seriously out of West’s life, especially after his supposed Twitter unfollow spree. But that might have just been one-sided because both the sisters wished the rapper a happy birthday in June, even when he was speculated to already be moving on and dating model Irina Shayk.

I guess the Kardashian-Wests are letting bygones be bygones. Keeping Up with the Kardashians is officially over, so that means no more reality TV cameras prying into Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's relationship (although we might see the final dregs of it on the new Hulu project). Moreover, Kardashian's attendance at the listening party was on top of the former couple reportedly making a stronger effort post-divorce to co-parent their four kids.

There was another huge statement made at the Donda album listening party – besides Kim Kardashian's red bodysuit. Many fans took note of the lyrics they were hearing from the long-awaited album. Specifically, Kanye West was heard rapping about his relationship and divorce from Kardashian, and there was even a song featuring Jay-Z, who West notoriously fell out with over Kardashian. Suffice to say, fans heard West’s message loud and clear and, at least to them, they think Kardashian should've felt awkward AF.

Supposedly, the Donda album will be released on August 6. And we're still waiting on word regarding whether Kim Kardashian has been released from the confines of that red bodysuit yet.
