Made Man seems like a late development in the mafia, mob wars, family of violence era of interactive gaming. I’m almost positive that last year was the year of the mobster. Yet somehow we’re still getting the cheap-suit wearing, foul-mouthed gangster games in 2007. Regardless, this dev diary from David Fisher gives gamers a little insight into the game’s story development.
It’s not often that collaborators are actually enthused about the way a project has turned out – especially when making the transition from movie to game or book to game. In this case Mr. Fisher is genuinely excited about informing gamers about the upcoming game, Made Man, which is being published by Aspyr. I can’t say the game is exceptionally innovative, gameplay wise, but it may be a surprise hit if the story-telling aspects come together nicely. Hey, it’s been the story that’s carried every single Final Fantasy game, because we all know that Square has been keen on giving us mediocre gameplay mechanics.
Anyway, Made Man will available on March 26th. You can check out the fourth development diary below. Enjoy.
