Everyone assumes that the men and women in our nation's armed forces prefer to spend their free time on violent games like Call of Duty. Many of the troops overseas would rather relax with a nice puzzle game though, so it's fitting that they'll be the first to get their hands on boxed copies of Bejeweled Twist.
PopCap Games will donate five hundred copies of Twist to the Games For Soldiers non-profit organization tomorrow, who will then distribute them to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Not sure how long it takes to ship something from the States to the Middle East but it should arrive over there close to the game's normal release date of November 18th. If it arrives earlier, well, I'm sure they'll let it slide. If 7-Eleven's allowed to violate street dates, so is the military.
Bejeweled Twist is the third installment in the popular puzzle series. While the game will hit store shelves on the 18th, it's already available digitally on PopCap's website for twenty bucks.
