Watch Channing Tatum Perform Frozen's Let It Go In Costume

Easily one of the most addictive shows on the air nowadays is Spike’s Lip Sync Battle. Celebrities pulling out all of the stops to try to defeat each other in lip sync duels is something that many of us never knew we needed before the series premiered back in April of 2015, and it’s all too easy to get sucked into a vortex of lip sync showdowns on YouTube. Spike has released a tantalizing teaser of one of the latest performances, and it shows Channing Tatum like he’s never been seen before in a rendition of “Let It Go” from Frozen. Check it out!

It’s become customary for celebrities to go all out for their appearances on Lip Sync Battle, but Channing Tatum in full Elsa gear surrounded by dancing snowflakes as snow cinematically swirls around him puts him at a whole other level than other contestants. Even John Krasinski’s literally breathtaking rendition of N ‘Sync’s “Bye Bye Bye” and Terry Crewspec-popping performance of “A Thousand Miles” can’t compare.

Channing Tatum deserves plenty of kudos for hitting the stage and channeling his inner Disney diva. After all, those dress slits aren’t exactly modest, and it takes a very secure man to pull off such a killer twirl without skipping a beat.

Although the clip is unfortunately brief, it was long enough to show that even Channing Tatum’s wife is astonished by the scale and enthusiasm of his performance. Jenna Dewan-Tatum is set to perform on Lip Sync Battle as well, but she’ll surely have a tough time beating her husband’s “Let It Go.”

The Tatum Takeover is timely for both performers. Channing Tatum stars in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight on the big screen, and Jenna Dewan-Tatum has a memorable recurring role as Lucy Lane on CBS’ Supergirl. The Tatums have been doing well for themselves, and what better way to celebrate success than for husband and wife to faceoff in a battle of lip sync performances?

Channing Tatum’s performance of “Let It Go” is already super entertaining in the sneak peek. Luckily for us, we won’t have to wait too long before the full version hits the airwaves. The Tatum Takeover episode of Lip Sync Battle will air air on Thursday, January 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET on Spike. Here's when the rest of your midseason favorites are set to premiere.
