Pete Davidson Admits He's 'Kinda' Living With His Mother

Pete Davidson - The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Between his gig at Saturday Night Live, his active stand-up career, and his blooming film career, one might think that Pete Davidson wouldn't need to worry about his living arrangements. But as the comedian recently admitted, his house set-up might not be what you'd expect. In fact, as he recently admitted in an interview, Davidson is still living with his mom. Well, he kinda is, at least. Here's how Pete Davidson explained it while sitting across from Jimmy Fallon earlier this week.

So I live with my mom… well we bought a house together, but nobody believes that. So I live with my mom, kinda. So I have, like, a basement that’s mine, but that’s, like, an apartment, so I live underneath her.

As Pete Davidson explained in the clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the television personality recently bought a house with his mom. However, even though he tries to explain the whole situation to other people, there are many folks who assume that the comic just lives with his mom. Which is "kinda" true, as Pete Davidson admits amusedly. But it's not exactly the full truth. Since the whole thing is hard to explain, though, Pete Davidson admits that he lives with his mom.

The way Pete Davidson describes the living arrangements, it sounds like they have turned the house into a bit of a duplex. Pete Davidson lives in the basement, or what he maybe charitably calls "an apartment" downstairs, while his mom lives up top. It's a bit of an odd situation, he'll openly admit. And obviously, the young, on-the-rise comedian takes a lot of amusement out of this unusual housing scenario. And Pete Davidson was yucking it up with Jimmy Fallon as he described it in full.

You can check out the late night talk show clip from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, featuring Pete Davidson regaling stories about his living arrangements with his mom and an expensive birthday dinner for Kid Cudi that also entertained the company of Kanye West and Timothee Chalamet, at the link below.

Additionally, Pete Davidson made a comment that might've been nothing, or it might've been telling. It depends on how you read it. The comic admitted earlier in the interview that he is "lonely." That would potentially implying — especially if he's "kinda" living with his mother presently — that his relationship with Kate Beckinsale may or may not be in a state of flux, if that. It's hard to know for sure, though. The comment could obviously have nothing to do with anything, and it's easy to brush off something a comedian says as a joke. In any case, it was a bit of a sly comment that ultimately caught a few viewers by surprise during this televised interview.
