Warning: Spoilers for Peter Weber’s season (Season 24) of The Bachelor are discussed below.

Peter Weber has a lot going on as his season of The Bachelor continues being a hotbed for fan theories. The fate of Peter’s heart is not the only thing at stake when it comes to whom he ultimately chooses, though. Whomever Peter does not give his “final rose” to could be in contention to be the next Bachelorette.

Remember, Peter Weber was chosen as the next Bachelor after his time on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Hannah ended up bidding farewell to Peter, but returned for Peter's season of The Bachelor, with the goal of the reunion being to help them work through some of their unfinished business. Now Peter’s season could give rise to the next Bachelorette. It is a full circle thing.

Speculation about the next Bachelorette is already churning amid the anticipation to see who Peter Weber will choose. So, with all of this in mind, which woman does Peter want to be the next Bachelorette? Well, he has an idea, and it centers around one of the women he recently eliminated. The current star of The Bachelor made his pick, telling ET:

Kelley would kill it. Kelley is so ready, Kelley is one of the smartest people I've met. [She has] such a strong presence. I definitely had questions at first if she was really ready and wanted this. I was wrong, she truly was. I think she can absolutely make an amazing [Bachelorette].

She may not be getting Peter Weber’s final rose, but she has his vote for being the next Bachelorette. Peter revealed that one of his original top three frontrunners, Kelley Flanagan, should be the next singleton to search for love on The Bachelorette. In making his case, Peter commended her intelligence and her “strong presence.”

While Peter Weber acknowledges having his doubts about her being “ready” and wanting to be a part of the Bachelor Nation experience, he now admits to being wrong. The previous star of The Bachelor, Colton Underwood, expressed his desire to have Peter as 2020’s Bachelor, and Peter ended up with the gig. Could Peter’s vote for Kelley play out the same way? Fans will, undoubtedly, stay tuned.

Peter is still trying to find lasting love on The Bachelor, and he has narrowed down his choices to the final four. As previously spoiled, Peter’s current finalists include Victoria Fuller, Madison Prewett, Hannah Sluss, and Kelsey Weier, with attorney (and Peter’s Bachelorette pick) Kelley Flanagan being the most recent contestant eliminated.

Thus, Kelley Flanagan will not be among those heading into the hometown date drama ahead. This will be a much-anticipated episode, as the wait to see who Peter Weber picks has been engulfed in wild speculation. Why? Hints about the unusual nature of how Peter’s season of The Bachelor ends have added fuel to an already usually intense fire.

Find out what happens with Peter's heart when new episodes of The Bachelor air this winter on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. While waiting for the next Bachelorette to be announced, there is a lot to keep you busy. Season 13 of The Bachelor is currently streaming on Netflix, along with tons of new 2020 content.
