Young and El Moussa got engaged last year and have been documenting their wedding planning process in El Moussa’s new show Tarek’s Flip Side. The reality couple did a sit-down interview with E!’s Daily Pop. After making headlines for her tattoo, which says "Yes sir, Mr. El Moussa" in cursive lettering, Young gave her reasoning for tattooing her future husband’s name on her body.
I did it as something special for my fiancé, my future husband. I will be Mrs. El Moussa, so this is my name. And it is a special thing that we do around the house: Daddy is the boss, I'm the queen of the house. We do it with the kids.
Heather Rae Young’s reasoning for getting the tattoo came as an innocent tribute to Tarek El Moussa.
