90 Day Fiancé star Yolanda Leak became popular with fans when she got taken for a ride by an internet catfishing scheme in Season 4 of Before The 90 Days, though she rebounded quickly to find love with The Bachelorette's Season 11 alum Josh Seiter. The two were in a serious relationship until they split in the beginning of 2021, and after starting a new relationship with Love After Lockup's Lizzie Koomes, Seiter wanted to clear the air about his personal life after taking recent criticisms from fans.

In an exclusive interview with CinemaBlend, Josh Seiter explained to me that he began to receive hateful comments from 90 Day Fiancé viewers after his relationship with Koomes with public. Seiter was accused of being a "clout chaser," with people alleging he used Yolanda Leaks for the fame aspect. There were apparently even rumors that he dated current 90 Day Fiancé Season 8 star Amira Lollysa. We talked about all that, but Seiter started off with some information that may lead fans to question who was using whom where Koomes was concerned.

What a lot of people don't know, and what I've held my tongue about, is that Yolanda very early in the relationship told me that 90 Day Fiancé had an option contract with her that they could choose to exercise for the upcoming season. And she's like 'Oh my God, babe, I could be on the next season but it would really help if I was in a relationship.' This was like 2-3 weeks into me and her dating, and us talking and stuff. She was like, 'I think we should really play up the affection and PDA online so that people will be really interested in us. The network will see that, and producers will be interested in bringing me back on the show. If I'm not in a relationship, there's no future with TLC for me.' I agreed to go along with it and everything was real with the relationship. . . . Then she went and contacted the TLC producers, and gave them my information and had them contact me and interview me. . . . I did the interview and as it turned out TLC was clearly not interested in bringing Yolanda back. Even a relationship with me couldn't save her and bring her back for a second season.

Josh Seiter explained how he felt that if there was anyone "chasing clout" in the relationship, it was Yolanda Leaks and not him. After it appeared that 90 Day Fiancé was no longer in her future, Seiter said he definitely noticed a change in their relationship.

The Bachelorette alum claimed that once the possibility of returning to television as part of a couple wasn't an option, Yolanda Leak was more distant than she'd previously been. According to Seiter, they went from constantly texting and Facetiming each other to almost no communication, and he says she ghosted him. Seiter eventually sought out answers, and when he confronted her, he said he learned something pretty surprising:

When I confonted her about ghosting me, she was like, 'Babe, I gotta be honest. I got a guy living with me that I'm dating now, and we started out as friends.' I was like, what the fuck? Now I don't know if that guy is the guy she'd been posting about on her social media when we were together, her 'bff', or if this John guy is the guy she cheated on me with and moved into her home. It may have been a different guy, given how quickly she seems to jump to people. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the guy she was referring to when she told me she had a guy living with her.

90 Day Bares All viewers may actually be familiar with John, who recently appeared on the Discovery+ series in an interview with Yolanda, and was noted as her new boyfriend. While Josh Seiter couldn't be explicitly sure whether or not the man Yolanda lived with during their relationship was John, it's certainly possible he could have played a factor in the couple's break-up as well.

And while we know Josh Seiter has since moved on and started dating Lizzie Koomes in the months since his split with Yolanda Leaks, another rumor circulated around that time that involved another 90 Day Fiancé star. It was rumored that Seiter had started up a relationship with current 90 Day Fiancé Season 8 star Amira Lollysa, but according to Seiter, that relationship wasn't quite so deep.

Yeah, we had talked briefly. There was a 90 Day Fiancé blogger that had recommended that we chat, thought we'd be a good match after my breakup with Yolanda. They're a friend of mine, kind of looking out for me. They were like, 'Hey I have this sweet girl that was kind of stood up by Andrew or whatever, you should hit her up.' We chatted briefly, but it didn't turn into anything, and around that same time I met Lizzie and kind of clicked. And so the thing with Amira just kind of fizzled. Like, we chatted, but that's pretty much it.

So while 90 Day Fiancé fans were indeed onto something with those rumors that Josh Seiter and Amira Lollysa had been in contact, Seiter confirmed to CinemaBlend that the whole story didn't amount to much more than the rumor. As for where things stand with Lizzie Koomes, Seiter said they recently met up and have plans to do so again in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Yolanda seems to be still together with John, and despite her recent appearance on 90 Day Bares All, she still has not been announced to be a part of any upcoming spinoff. Given John's appearance on the spinoff show, though, could that mean that producers had changed their mind on including her?

90 Day Fiancé airs on TLC Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET. For fans who love drama, there's plenty of it going on in the universe, especially given the recent developments between Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva. Read up on the latest happening in the pair's relationship, which may make more sense now given what happened in the latest episode, and stay tuned for more from our interview with Josh Seiter.
