EA has a special treat for players of Battlefield Heroes, with a long-time favorite Battlefield map called Wake Island. In addition to a brand new map making its way onto the game, new player party packs will be available for free up until July 8th.

If you’re not too busy over the Independence Day holiday, you might want to log into the game and grab the party pack for either the Nationals or the Royals. There’s also some pretty good news for those of you who can’t speak English or German very well. As stated in the press release…

EA is also proud to announce that Battlefield Heroes is now fully localized in eight new languages, including: French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish and Russian. With English and German previously available, Battlefield Heroes is now live in a total of ten languages worldwide.

That’s good news for all you out there who couldn’t speak a lick of English or German. You probably also don’t understand any of what’s being said here but it doesn’t matter, the game is now available in your dialect.

If you’re unfamiliar with Battlefield Heroes you’ve either been living under a rock or playing too much Call of Duty. Basically, it’s a third-person, cartoon rendition of the popular Battlefield series, with teamwork and vehicles still playing a large part in securing a victory on the battlefield.
