Run Roo Run Jumps Into App Store

5TH Cell, the developers of Scribblenauts and Drawn to Life, released a new platformer today. Run Roo Run can be downloaded to your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch for $1.29.

Run Roo Run stars a mother kangaroo traveling across Australia to save her child (or "joey") from captivity. Players will have to travel across the Australian Outback and avoid all the obstacles they encounter along the way. Power-ups like ridable clouds and human cannons will give players the edge they need to survive.

Roo features over 420 levels, with 100 "extreme" levels. 5TH Cell plans to release regular updates as well. They promise 10 new free levels every week.

This is the first game 5th Cell has released for iOS. However, Ion Galaxy created a mobile remake of Scribblenauts last fall.
