Prison Break and The Mob Doctor’s Michael Rapaport has signed on for a brand new pilot over at CBS. Hailing from Greg Garcia, the currently untitled pilot will feature Rapaport in a supporting role.

Since the family tree in the pilot is a little complicated, let’s get into the details. The story will follow Jack, played by Will Arnett, who is recently divorced at the beginning of the series. This is sucky, but to make matters worse, his parents decide to move in with him. Unfortunately, his parents don’t get along particularly well, either. Jack also has a sister named Debbie who is involved in the series and, according to TV Line, her husband will be played by Rapaport. This won’t be the actor’s first gig on a Garcia program—he also played a character in the creator's now-defunct comedy, My Name Is Earl.

Casting for the pilot is well underway at this point. Besides Rapaport and Arnett, Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale have signed on as the parents and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Curb Your Enthusiasm’s J.B. Smoove are also set to appear. Garcia actually has two pilots competing for a series timeslot at CBS and he’s had a pretty good track record with CBS, having had a successful run with Yes, Dear in the past. We’ll let you know if the untitled pilot moves forward at the network, as well as gets a snazzy title.
