The Creative Assembly expected Napoleon: Total War to go gold this week and it seems that's just what happened. They've announced a firm release date for the game.

"Napoleon: Total War will be released on 23rd February 2010!" said the official Total War Twitter earlier this morning. There's no mention of territories so presumably this is the global release date.

Napoleon's will feature two campaigns based on the famous French emperor's military excursions in Italy and Egypt. A third campaign, called "The Mastery of Europe," tasks players with conquering as much of the world as possible. Like its predecessors, the game will support multiplayer battles as well.
