Subscribe To Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online Closed Beta Returns Updates
Ubisoft's free-to-play multiplayer shooter Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online has returned for more testing. The closed beta is back online and additional invites should be on the way.

Ghost Recon Online allows players to battle it out online with a host of futuristic technology at their disposal. For example, you can deploy an energy shield to protect you and your teammates. There are three classes at players' disposal, each with unique abilities and items.

Simply participating in the closed beta grants you a P250 chrome pistol, 5th SFG avatar, and 150 Ghost Coins for the in-game store. If you get your character up to level 20 during this beta, you'll get a P250 gold pistol, 450 Ghost Coins, and an additional avatar. These rewards will be awarded at the start of the open beta.

It's not clear how long this new phase of the closed beta will last. It's also not clear when they plan to switch over to open testing, but it'll probably happen before the end of the year. Either way, you can apply for the closed beta by signing up at the official website.

Ubisoft gave out an additional key to each current tester today. I'll be giving away mine through our Facebook page at some point so keep your eyes peeled.
