Weekly Recap: Fallout 4 Hints And 5 Other Mammoth News Stories

The big news this week was that Bethesda Softworks would be attending E3 2015 this year. While that in itself may not be all that exciting, what is exciting is that the capacity in which they are attending has changed drastically this year: Bethesda will be hosting a live E3 2015 stage conference. These stage conferences are reserved for only the biggest and best reveals, and it leads everyone to the one conclusion that they can't stop talking about: Is this the year where Fallout 4 is officially announced?

All of the signs seem to point toward a big whooping “Yes!” but we won't know until we know, and that doesn't happen until June, this summer. Additionally, we have up a review of the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The newly formed DayBreak Studios gets hit with layoffs, and hints about Mass Effect 4's multiplayer are revealed. New Nintendo 3DS XL Review

Ryan Winslett kicks off the week with a bang, reviewing Nintendo's latest portable hardware. AMD is already hard at work on the next big GPU series in the 300 line and it'll be announced soon. Assassin's Creed Rogue has its PC requirements and release date detailed for PC gamers. If you're a big fan of World of Warcraft you'll probably enjoy the fact that the first Level 1 mount will be made available. Destiny's House of Wolves has finally been detailed by Bungie. Turtle Rock Studios announced all the plans they have for the day-one launch of Evolve with a 3GB patch. The Dolphin emulator can make Wii and GameCube games even better than ever and here's how. Shadow Realms Gets Canceled

Fallout 4 Could Be Announced At E3 2015

The Lost Vikings are being pulled out of the old IP treasure trove and added to Blizzard's MOBA title Heroes of the Storm. After recently being acquired by an investment firm and changing their name to the Daybreak Game Company, the staff working on H1Z1 and Planetside 2 were hit with layoffs. Mass Effect 4 Multiplayer Inbound

Whether you want it or not, a multiplayer mode for Mass Effect 4 is on the way. The DLC plans for Mortal Kombat X have been revealed, detailing what you'll be getting further down the road. A new Dungeons & Dragons RPG is on the way and it's being designed by the director of Dragon Age: Origins. If you thought Sega was on the road to redemption with Sonic Boom, you were waaaaaaaay off. Modders managed to bring back the really gosh-awful, B-movie voice acting from the original Resident Evil for Resident Evil HD. Bloodborne received a brand new trailer that covers the game's maps and atmosphere and it's creepy looking... which means it's well worth a watch.

Dying Light is a hit; Techland walked away winning January on the NPD charts. That sneaky little vendor Xur has come back with something special for gamers in Destiny.
