The most startling and shocking news of the week was obviously Sony buying OnLive and setting a shutdown date. Anyone who didn't purchase their OnLive games through Steam will be out of luck at the end of the month.

A discussion about the future of the Wii U kicked things off early in the week, following Nintendo's NX announcement. We finally get the official release date for Halo 5: Guardians, and it's a little earlier than you might have been expecting. There's also some news about Titanfall 2. The Wii U Is Dead...
Long live the Wii U. Here's an interesting take on the future of Nintendo's eighth-gen console. The graphics downgrade that the Xbox One and PS4 suffered with the GTA V patch has been fixed. Halo 5's Release Date Set
Microsoft unveiled the release date forHalo 5, along with some new trailers. Here are some of the features missing from Dead or Alive 5: Last Round on PC. Spotify is now available on the PS3 and PS4. Titanfall 2 Tidbits Teased

Elite: Dangerous has launched on Steam. Rockstar unveiled a 60fps trailer for GTA V. Nintendo is unleashing more characters on the roster for Super Smash Bros and they're Pokemon. Quantum Break from Remedy Entertainment and Microsoft has been delayed to 2016. Hearthstone Blackrock Mountain launched, giving gamers even more dynamic, card-playing action. Sadly, the couch has been nerfed in Battlefield Hardline. The 200cc mode will be arriving for free in Mario Kart 8. A few arcade classics from Atari's old collection could be getting the reboot treatment. If you're looking for more new content in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare you'll definitely want to check out the new DLC that just launched for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
