The 3D experience, while not essential to all Hollywood blockbusters, can be something that elevates what would have been just another theatrical experience, into something truly spectacular. Films like Avatar, The Martian and even Doctor Strange have used the medium to fantastic results, making us truly believe in the magic of the third dimension. 2018 already promises to be a pretty big year for movies in general, but the 3D playing field looks like it's going to be just as competitive, if not more so, than that very measure.
Which is why it's a good idea to have a handy guide that'll show you when your favorites will be headed to the big screen, in beautiful 3D picture! Now keep in mind, the following line-up is subject to both release date changes, as well as confirmation of whether or not a 3D presentation will be on the market. That in mind, here are the films that look to be popping out of theater screens, and into the faces of movie-goers in 2018!
