Joanna Gaines Shares First Look At Her Beautiful Baby Boy

Welcome to the world, Crew Gaines! The Fixer Upper couple welcomed their fifth child sooner than anticipated when the newborn baby boy made his entrance into the world two-and-a-half weeks early over the weekend. Of course, Joanna and Chip Gaines are overwhelmed with joy at the moment, and they weren't shy about expressing their enthusiasm on social media, along with our first look at the new baby. Here's our first peek at baby Crew!

The adorable mother-son picture isn't the only one we've gotten from the reality TV couple. Joanna Gaines also shared this cute picture of her little "cuddle bug" as she sits in the hospital with her newest addition to the extended television family.

Crew Gaines is joining Drake, 12, Ella, 9, Duke, 8, and Emmie, 7, into the Gaines household. A fifth child is something Joanna Gaines has wanted for quite some time, but her husband, Chip Gaines, was a little more hesitant about including another addition to the family, though he clearly turned around on the idea. Meanwhile, it was no secret that the newest baby was a boy. Chip Gaines let the news slip a few months back when he asked a new friend to help him pick out a name. The name Crew comes as a bit of a surprise since Joanna and Chip Gaines have kept a tradition of giving their sons names that begin with the letter "D." There's no word yet on why they decided to name the newborn child Crew, but it was reportedly Joanna's idea to break tradition and give the child a "C" name.

Joanna Gaines hasn't been shy about posting pictures of her baby bump on her social media feeds, and the reality TV superstar has been continuously updating fans on the arrival of her newest child. They first announced the pregnancy at the beginning of the year. That said, there was some concern from fans during this pregnancy. There's no word yet on whether they are planning to have any more children, but it seems like they're pretty comfortable with having an extended family. In any case, the main focus is on the newborn child, and we wish Joanna and Chip Gaines many congratulations on another happy and successful child!

Now that Fixer Upper has closed up shop with the show's final season, Chip and Joanna Gaines might have some more time to devote to raising the newest child. That said, they are still pretty darn busy with a multitude of projects, including a new spin-off series, Fixer Upper: Behind the Design, on HGTV.
