Kelly Clarkson Reveals The Sex Of Her Baby

Kelly Clarkson has never been shy about sharing her desire to have a family. In fact, the former American Idol winner straight up said all she wanted for Christmas was a baby. She got her wish when she found out she was with child back in November, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that she’s been pretty open about her life developments ever since.

For a long time, those life developments mostly included sharing her emotions with fans, but recently, we got something very tangible from the star: the sex of the baby. Here’s what she had to say via Twitter

Clarkson has had a real weird last year or so. She took the greatest engagement photographs I have ever seen, but after the stress of planning a wedding became too much, she abruptly cancelled it. She also bought Jane Austen’s ring and unintentionally started an international scandal. No doubt the impending birth of her first child will add a whole bunch stress, but with the elopement out of the way and plenty of current step-mother experience, there’s no reason to think she won’t be in a great place when this little girl eventually comes.

Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to Clarkson, Blackstone and the rest of the family. Here’s to hoping they’ve got many years of familial bliss ahead of them.

In the meantime, you can fondly think back to a time in which Clarkson was full of anger and still in search of her happy ending via the video for “Since U Been Gone” below…
