Dog The Bounty Hunter Pays Tribute To Late Wife Beth Chapman With Throwback Post

Dog The Bounty Hunter

It's been a turbulent year for Duane Chapman, as the man television viewers know as Dog the Bounty Hunter lost his wife Beth Chapman and has gotten some discouraging health news as of late. Some of the experience has been chronicled in his latest reality series, Dog's Most Wanted, which premiered on television in September.

Audiences have been following Beth's cancer battle on Dog's Most Wanted, as well as Duane Chapman's process of mourning on social media. Dog posted a throwback picture of him and Beth on his social media with the two of them rocking matching blue and strong couple vibes that really drive home the love they shared.

It's the latest in a steady stream of tributes Duane Chapman has shared on social media of Beth, and like the ones before, the photo was met with an outpouring of support from the reality star's followers. The tribute comes in the midst of Season 1 of Dog's Most Wanted, and just ahead of potentially emotional episode for Dog and fans alike. The episode, titled "Beth's Final Hunt Pt. 1," looks to be one of Beth's final episodes before her death.

Dog the Bounty Hunter is still on the mend after going to the hospital and being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism. Recovery from the process can be tough, though Duane Chapman has noted that he intends to make a full recovery and get back to feeling as best as he can. Dog initially didn't tell his children about his health troubles, though it would seem given the publicity they are in the loop now.

Other members of Dog's family are paying tribute in other unique ways, like Bonnie Jo Chapman (who was also in the hospital recently) who launched a clothing line to honor her mother. The clothes feature the words "For Beth" and are available through One Love One Tribe in a variety of t-shirt and hat styles. According to the website, the designs were discussed with Beth Chapman prior to her death and are meant to honor her legacy.

Amidst all this we still have yet to hear any news on Dog's Most Wanted Season 2, though it wouldn't be surprising if WGN pulls the trigger provided the premiere gave the network its biggest ratings night in a couple years. Of course, a lot of whether Season 2 happens would potentially be contingent on Dog the Bounty Hunter's recovery from his embolism. If all goes well with that, I would think this show sees another season.
