After announcing her divorce from Kanye West, Kim Kardashian is single once again. It has been nearly seven years since the reality star has been on her own, but things have changed a bit as she also has four young children to think about. With the ink not yet dry on the divorce papers, though, Kardashian is far from worrying about a new relationship and is reportedly doing something else with her down time.
In fact, Kim Kardashian appears to be seeking out more grounding time with family and friends now that her divorce from husband Kanye West is public knowledge. According to a source for People:
Kim is figuring out her new life as single. With Kanye, she was often on his schedule. Now she is able to do whatever makes her happy. Lately, she really enjoys girls' nights. She sees her girlfriends a couple of times a week at least. She loves catching up with them. She has a big group of friends that are great support.
It is evident from Kim Kardashian's social media that she is now leaning on those closest to her. She recently posted on Instagram about “dancing the night away” with her brother Rob Kardashian only “a few months ago.” She also posted about a girl’s game night of Taboo and Pictionary with sis Kourtney, Adrienne Bailon, Stephanie Shepherd and Khadijah Haqq McCray. Spectators shouldn't begrudge the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star from finding comfort in her own private life during such a delicate time. If anything, it is the only logical and natural course of action for anyone going through a divorce.
Despite it being very early days for Kim Kardashian to start dating, many fans can't help but speculate who will be her next beau. Sources have alluded that Kardashian is “not ready” to start dating, but even news commentator Van Jones has been linked to the now single SKIMS entrepreneur. Though it honestly sounds like a reach, given the timing.
Amidst all of the rumors that continue to swirl about her personal life, Kim Kardashian has yet to comment further on her split from soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West. On social media, Kardashian's posts mostly involve her SKIMS brand, selfies and friends and family. However, ahead of the first episode for the final Keeping Up with the Kardashians season, Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner broke the family's wall of silence surrounding the divorce. She told The Kyle and Jackie O Show that its her personal goal for Kim, Kanye and their kids to feel happy and supported during this time.
Kim Kardashian does have a lot on her plate, what with her divorce to Kanye West, parenting four children under the age of seven and studying to become a future lawyer. However, it's it is nice to know that she has found sources of comfort during this time.
