If you've been planning on upgrading your graphics card for PC but haven't found a card that seems like it's worth the economic plunge, maybe EVGA's GTX 650Ti series could convince you given that it comes with two of the biggest games of the year.
The small but extremely powerful 650 Ti is and 650Ti SSC offers gamers some nifty, free bonus items, namely World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria if you purchase the 650 Ti or Assassin's Creed III if you get the 650Ti SSC.
The PCI Express 3.0 cards offer up PhysX compatibility, improved performance using TXAA technology which enables the use of up to 8x MSAA with the performance of running a program at only 2x MSAA, meaning you get more bang for your buck, and it offers more watts per performance than other energy-hungry Nvidia cards.
Both the 650Ti and 650Ti SSC also come in 1GB and 2GB VRAM editions, meaning that if you're willing to spend a little extra on the 2GB version you can ramp up the shadows, lighting and texture resolutions to unforeseen heights without nary a stop in performance.
Now to be completely honest (and so this doesn't look entirely advertorial) I have no idea how well these cards scale under a lot of duress and frequent updates. As we all know, Nvidia cards are known to poop out due to overheating issues. It would take a little forum fishing to find out how well the 650Ti performs for the long haul but given that the card(s) is fairly new it's going to be difficult to determine if you're looking at another 9800 case or if the cards are as reliable as the 460 series.
