Want to be able to play the Left 4 Dead 2 demo as soon as it goes live? If you've already purchased your copy of Left 4 Dead 2 through Steam, you can download it starting now.

The demo will be playable by Xbox 360 and PC pre-order customers on October 27th. If you've ordered it through a brick-and-mortar retailer instead of Steam, you can hit them up for a download code this weekend. Might as well - it's not like you have any interesting plans for the weekend.

The general public will be able to download and play the demo starting on November 3rd. The full game hits stores on November 17th.
