World of Warcraft will turn eight years old on November 23rd. Blizzard is celebrating this milestone by providing limited-time items to all players who log on in the next couple weeks.

When you log in between November 18th and December 1st, you'll get a new Feat of Strength achievement. Furthermore, you'll receive a Celebration Package item. This Package, when used, will shoot off fireworks, display a new tabard on your character, and give you an 8% bonus for experience and reputation gains. The bonus only applies to gains from kills, though, so it won't help your progress with reputation daily quests.

WoW first launched on November 23, 2004. It quickly became the largest MMO available, with subscriptions peaking at 12 million in late 2008. The game has spawned four expansion packs: Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria. Pandaria, the most recent was released in September of this year.

For this year's celebration, Blizzard released a retrospective video. It contains footage from each of the expansion packs, including notable locations and enemies.
