It was a hallmark game for the PSX, even though it was highly restrictive, linear, and confined in its gameplay mechanics. Yet it didn’t stop gamers from eating up the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics like any other FF game. With a sequel for an original FF Tactics due out for Nintendo’s handheld system, the PSP will be getting a re-released version from the PSX.

Unless Square thinks gamers are too young to remember the mildly-old tactical RPG on the PSX, I might be convinced they’re tossing out rehashes just to see what sticks. Literally, it will be a ported remake of the PSX game with re-done cinematics and a couple of extra gameplay tweaks. Such ‘tweaks’ include new classes. No doubt this game will sell well for PSP standards, but suspecting gamers will be ware of Square-Enix rehash tactics. Nevertheless, if you were patient and focused enough to read every word up to this point, you will be handsomely rewarded with the trailer of Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou for the PSP below.
