Here's How To Unlock Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Armor

If you want to see some of the armor unlocks being made available in Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer, look no further than a bit of new info courtesy of 343 Industries and IGN. The unlocks showcase what the different armor types look like in the upcoming FPS.

There's a image and video showcase of the armor types, giving gamers an idea of what they'll be looking forwards to donning in Halo 5's multiplayer beta due to go live this December.

For those who didn't know, if you purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection you'll be eligible to partake in the multiplayer beta for 343 Industries Halo 5. A sneak peek at the beta will also get underway on November 10th during the HaloFest 2014 event.

However, before getting to the HaloFest goods there's still a matter of rolling out some details on the different armor types that have been revealed so far. You can see them in action – well, not really in action but more like on a rotating plateau – with the video from IGN below.

The video, as you can see, is pretty standard fare. We only see four different types of armor on display and they include the Mark VI from Halo 2. As you can see, the suit is improved and upgraded for today's generation of home consoles. You'll also see the armor in full-on action in Halo: The Master Chief Collection in two week's time.

How To Unlock The Armor: You can unlock the armor by earning the “Your Journey Begins” Achievement in the Master Chief Collection.

Up next is the scarred Mark VI armor from Halo 3. The iconic Mjolnir armor took Master Chief through the perils of Earth's battles all the way to the far reaches of the galaxy where he battled the flood and saved the universe from certain destruction.

The Helioskrill armor looks really badass. This was special armor designed by a Sanghelli. It looks like it was built for war and bred for combat... with a touch of sports-car aesthetics tossed in for good measure.

The final bit is the Nightfall armor. It's the armor featured in the Halo: Nightfall series.

How To Unlock The Armor: Watch the first episode of Halo: Nightfall to unlock the helmet. Watch all five episodes to unlock the full armor set.

As a bit of a side-note, 343 Industries wanted gamers to know that the armor featured in the video above is not fully representative of the final visual quality of how they'll look in the game.

You can look to purchase Halo: The Master Chief Collection on November 11th, exclusively for the Xbox One. Need more info? Feel free to visit the official website.
