The PAX 10 Indie Game Submission Is Open

The submission window for indie developers to submit their games to the PAX committee – which will be judged by Penny Arcade’s own Gabe and Tycho, among 50 other industry panelists – is currently open. This means that if you’re working on an indie project, you’d best get things finished before May.
"We were absolutely amazed by the quality and diversity of games submitted in 2008," said Robert Khoo of Penny Arcade. "I'm excited to see what the community of indie game devs have in store for us this year. Good luck to everyone!"
The top 10 submissions will be rated on gameplay and “fun factor”. Given that “fun factor” is in quotation marks, it’s safe to assume that the fun will be factored in subjectively. Regardless, game designers have up until May 9th to submit their games. The winners will be announced this upcoming July and featured at the Penny Arcade 2009 Exhibition Hall between September 4th and 6th at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
You can learn more about submitting games by visiting the Official PAX 10 Game Submissions Site. For more gaming news, info and updates, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
