Disney+ is gearing up to deliver its second major MCU TV series to its giant fanbase, with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier hitting the streaming service on Friday, March 19. Audiences have been waiting to see this project for a long while now, with the first footage going public during last year's Super Bowl. Thankfully, new footage was revealed to critics ahead of Disney+'s panels for the Television Critics Association winter press tour, and it's safe to say the two lengthy sequences are exactly what Marvel fans are waiting for, which the reactions from critics also indicate.

While it would be a crime worthy of Avengers-level attention to already give away everything that happens in the two clips that Disney+ unveiled, it's safe to say that everyone who has felt somewhat averse to WandaVision's genre playfulness is going to fully embrace The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's big action moments. In one scene, we've got badass fisticuffs between Anthony Mackie's Sam "The Falcon" Wilson and the previously revealed returning character Batroc, with former UFC champ Georges St. Pierre reprising the role he filled in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, among others. And in the next scene, we see Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes trying to work out some mental issues, or perhaps he's trying to avoid them, also with fights included. No sign of the also returning Don Cheadle, but we're patient.

Don't just take my word for how awesome the clips are, especially when there are others out there who are just as pumped to talk about The Falcon and Winter Soldier's new footage. We'll kick things off with a take from one of CinemaBlend's own MCU fanatics, Sean O'Connell, who shared the following assessment:

He's not alone in his opinions that Falcon's action sequence is as top-notch as it gets from Marvel. Here's what Decider had to say about it:

The action wasn't seen in the same awe-filled light by Collider, but they noted that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is definitely more proof after WandaVision that Marvel has not been afraid to give its Disney+ shows impressive budgets.

Someone from Rotten Tomatoes' staff gave props to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier scenes for bringing more blood to the table.

By and large, Marvel knew what it was doing by going action-heavy with its first big look at The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and fans are no doubt going to be antsy as all hell to see it all for themselves. Especially that bit where Falcon [SPOILERS] and then [SPOILERS]. It's almost strange that the footage wasn't more Captain America-oriented, considering how often his shield has shown up in other promos. Regardless, I can't wait for this show!

Get ready for all the Marvel action you can handle (or at least a noteworthy percentage of the action you can handle) when The Falcon and the Winter Soldier makes its highly anticipated premiere on Disney+ on Friday, March 19. Will the show officially kill off Steve Rogers, or is it just making us think that? Discuss below!
