Reacher, one of the best Amazon Prime original TV shows, is currently in its fourth season on the 2026 TV schedule, and its star, Alan Ritchson, loves to get in on the online conversation about it through his own posts about production and by commenting on others' uploads. Now, a couple of social media posts caught the attention of Jack Reacher himself as they pointed out a silly coincidence that's hard to unsee.
So, here's what happened. A Threads post from melonhead118 pointed out that Reacher has done a twirl across the seasons. When you line the posters up numerically by season in a horizontal row, you can see the wall of muscle do a little spin in his character’s T-shirt and jeans uniform. The insightful post was then reposted on Instagram by noconculture, where it caught the attention of Alan Ritchson, who, of course, had to weigh in. Here’s the visual aid to get you up to speed:
I have no idea whether showing Ritchson from every angle across the show’s posters was an intentional choice or whether someone in marketing was playing the long game. However, once you see it laid out, you really can’t unsee it. It could all be a funny coincidence, and we’ll likely never know if that’s the case. But the stance and expression do represent the character well, as the stoic former military man who takes out the bad guys isn’t known for his jokes.
One thing that’s become clear about the Fast X star is that if he has something to say, he’s going to say it, and if he has an opinion about something, he’s going to share it. So, I was delighted to see that Ritchson has shared his own thoughts on his TV show’s poster choices. He commented on that Instagram repost by saying:
I’ll never unsee it. Also… where do we go from here? Cartwheel?🤸
Reacher has already been renewed for Season 5, which means before too long, we’ll get to see a new show poster. Do you think it will fit in with the others, or do you think they’ll take an entirely different approach? It’s probably safe to say that the War Machine star won’t actually be doing a cartwheel, but what will he do? Where do they go from here? Will we be back to the Season 1 pose, and have gone in a full circle? Or do they have another angle up their sleeves?

And then, the upcoming Reacher spinoff series Neagley will drop its first season on that same date.
