Shark Week Expert Weighs In On Jaws As ‘One Of The Best Movies Ever Made,’ But ‘Pretty Bad PR’ For Sharks
Exclusives Paul de Gelder opened up about Jaws ahead of his Shark Week special about surviving attacks.
The cast of the new live-action “How to Train Your Dragon” (Gerard Butler, Nick Frost, Nico Parker, Mason Thames, Julian Dennison, Harry Trevaldwyn, Bronwyn James, and Gabriel Howell) as well as writer/director Dean DeBlois sat down with CinemaBlend to talk about the new blockbuster! Watch us set up a meeting between Nico Parker and Mason Thames with the original Hiccup and Astrid, Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera. We also talk about how Gerard Butler was almost replaced for the new film, what the cast is most excited to tackle in the sequel, how Toothless is shamelessly meant to remind us of our dogs, and much, much more.
Is Ariana Grande’s dog Toulouse playing Toto in "Wicked: For Good"?? We asked Jonathan Bailey.
Javier Bardem was all smiles when we asked how it felt to see his name presented with distiction at the beginnning of "F1."
The days are numbered on the 2025 movie schedule, as fans will finally get to experience 28 Years Later this weekend. For those looking forward to observing Danny Boyle and Alex Garland’s legacy-quel in the flesh, there’s definitely a certain pressure when it comes to how this film may or may not deliver the goods. But I think it’s a fair assumption that if there’s any greater source of pressure in this scenario, it was felt by the picture’s cast. Part of that pressure is, of course, the intensely physical needs of "28 Years Later’s" scenes of Infected peril. That was one of the natural sources of conversation during my interviews promoting the release of this upcoming horror movie. Actors Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Comer and Alfie Williams were on hand as part of that experience, with Williams offering these notes on the experience to CinemaBlend.
Ian McShane explains why critics get it wrong when they praise performances in films they consider to be bad.
