It's not often you see major items on sale at Apple, but Black Friday hasn't gone ignored by the popular computer and portable device brand. In the market for an iPad? What about an iPod or one of those new iPad Minis? The prices have been reduced on some of these items for a one-day-only sale that's happening on Apple's website and at retail stores.

Apple sent word out today that they're offering discounts on a number of their products.
Enjoy special pricing on all the great gifts below. Buy online and get fast, free shipping. Or shop at your favorite Apple Retail Store, where you’ll enjoy extended hours and even faster checkout with Express Shopping.

Among the discounted items currently featured on their website are:

iPad: $458.00 (regular price $499.00)
iPad 2: $368.00 (regular price $399.00)
iPod touch: $268.00 (regular price $299.00)
iPod touch 4th generation: $178.00 (regular price $199.00)
iPod nano: $138.00 (regular price $149.00)

Also marked down are the MacBook Pro laptops and the MacBook Air, as well as the AirPort Extreme Base Station and the Time Capsule wireless hard drive and a number of other accessories. The price decreases are obviously more noticeable among the higher priced items. The laptops are discounted by $101 dollars, which certainly makes a dent, especially given the cost of Macs. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the iPhone is on there. But if you're in the market for a new Magic Trackpad or a set of Apple EarPods, now's a good time to grab it, either by visiting the site's sale page or stopping in at your local Apple store.
