Weekly Recap: Just Cause 3 Coming In 2015 And 5 Other Interesting Stories

Halo: The Master Chief Collection finally launched, but it wasn't quite with confetti and rainbows. The game had a few trips and stumbles out of the gate, but no where near as bad as Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Unity. The next-gen only open-world assassin game got caught with its pants down and all its glitchy junk was left to hang wide out in the open.

Avalanche Studios finally set in stone the release window for Just Cause 3, and it's guaranteed to arrive on the Xbox One and PS4. It's definitely a lot later than the 2014 release we had originally been expecting, but better a quality game arriving late than a rushed game arriving early (here's looking at you Assassin's Creed Unity). Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Review

Can Kevin Spacey save Call of Duty? Well Gaming Blend's Pete Haas gives you the complete rundown in his review of Advanced Warfare. Battletoads Making A Return For Xbox?

I don't know about anyone else, but a return of Battletoalds for today's generation of game consoles would be pretty freaking radical. It appears as if Microsoft could be making it happen for the Xbox One. Some pretty big games are dropping this week for PlayStation, including Assassin's Creed Rogue. Speaking of launches, the official launch trailer for GTA V has gone live... it's somewhat worth checking out. If you missed the Halofest event, no worries, there are screenshots and leaked videos already up and out. The 2014 Game Awards are the replacement for the Spike TV VGAs... I don't know if it will be better or worse than the train wreck from last year, but it's going to be hard going any lower than the VGX 2013 show. Dungeon Defenders II is also set to arrive along with the Game Awards show, so you can get in on the Early Access in December.

Just Cause 3 Announced For PS4, Xbox One

After a lot of hype, a lot of anticipation and tons of lip-covered spittle that evolved into full-on drooling, Just Cause 3 is finally launching in 2015 for the PS4 and Xbox One. Five Nights At Freddy's 2 has officially launched. The launch times for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor have been officially revealed, so you can check them out here. Bloodborne Delayed To 2015

A new trailer for Tales From Borderlands has surfaced, giving gamers a fresh look at the gameplay. United Front Games drops some massive detail-bombs for Triad Wars via a live-stream. Microsoft reveals that the Xbox One has managed to shift more than 10 million SKUs... to retailers. Assassin's Creed Unity will be getting a massive patch to fix all the missing faces and broken gameplay. There's a schedule out for the Warlords of Draenor raids. Sonic Boom Blasting Onto Wii U

Will Sega be able to rekindle the magic of the blue hedgehog? We'll find out with Sonic Boom on the Wii U. 343 Industries is doing something about the slow matchmaking that has plagued the Master Chief Collection since launch by removing playlists. There's a new video featuring the single-player content of Battlefield Hardline, which includes some of the nifty new gadgets that will be at the disposal of players. Planetside 2's beta is still scheduled to release for the PS4 within 2014. The Star Citizen dogfighting module is a beast and the system requirements are insane. And this has got to be the best way to address online trolling in gaming... only in League of Legends.
