The DVD Blend Cries Eureka!
Each week DVDs come out. Some of them are worth your time and money and some aren't. Some of them are movies I've seen, and some of them aren’t. Regardless, I give you my opinion on the big releases of the week. If the releases sound like something you want to buy, just click the link to go to Amazon.com and you’ll support Cinema Blend with a few pennies. Take it or leave it, here's the DVD Blend.
Cinema Blend Pick of the Week:
Eureka: Season One
In a week that sees almost no new DVD releases, one television show rises to the top. To be honest, I’m glad this DVD set is coming out because it’ll free up thirteen hours from my DVR, where I currently have the entire season saved. And I’ll need that time back, too, because season two of “Eureka” is right around the corner. But you already knew that, because why else would Universal pick a dead week to release this DVD set? If you missed the show, it takes place in Eureka, a small town that doubles as a think-tank for the leading minds of the country. They develop new inventions, which typically go awry, leading to that week’s plot. There’s a nice dynamic plot running through the episodes, however, including some intrigue, spy-games, and – oh, a little romance as well. Definitely worth a look.
