Back before the release of The Dark Knight there was a massive viral campaign launched that had fans racing around different cities performing various tasks/collecting various objects for The Joker. Now movie fans have another chance to join the ranks of am incredibly villainous organization, and all in the time of the upcoming G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

A new website has been launched that will allow fans of the franchise to join the ranks of Cobra Special Forces, the evil military group run by Cobra Commander. The official site launched right HERE and comes with a special introductory video that even includes the voice of Keith David (who previously did recruitment videos for the U.S. Navy). Check it out.

In addition to downloads and links to different social networking pages the site also has an events page that you can access by clicking on the link in the bottom left corner of the homepage. There is only one event listed right now and it's the Chi-Town Half Marathon, which comes with the note "Join the Cobras and run the Chicago Half Marathon." Will be see people in Cobra uniforms running in the race on March 24th?
