Water Park Will Be Invaded In Piranha 3DD

In the past year, Piranha 3D has been responsible for two of my ten favorite movie experiences. The first took place in the theater and was highlighted by three drunk frat guys high fiving each other and shouting “Yes!” whenever tourists were eaten or some chick lost her top. The second occurred in my living room and featured not only my roommate and I high fiving each other and shouting “Yes!’ whenever tourists were eaten, chicks lost their tops or Christopher Lloyd showed up but also both of our girlfriends repeatedly yelling at us for making them sit through it. That’s a b-movie at its finest.

Almost immediately after Piranha 3D made theatergoers giggle despite their better senses, a sequel was announced for release late this year. Aptly titled Piranha 3DD, details surrounding the project have been very hard to come by, at least up to this point. Today, Bloody Disgusting got its hands on a plot description, and it’s all fans of the original could have hoped for. Apparently, those hungry bastards somehow squirm their way into the city’s water supply and start destroying swimming pools, home showers and a newly erected theme park called Wilderness Waters. Expect lots of scantily-clad death.

Piranha 3DD hits theaters November 23rd. I’ll be there. You should consider joining me.
