Guard Your Organs, The Repo Men Are Coming July 27th

Buy any Artiforgs lately? If you’re sporting one of The Union’s fancy new hearts, stomachs, or kidneys, watch your back because on July 27th, Universal Home Video will release Repo Men on DVD and Blu-ray.

Remy (Jude Law) is one of The Union’s best repo men. If you purchase an artificial organ and are unable to make your payments, Remy comes knocking on your door to repossess the company’s property -- by any means necessary. After a freak accident, Remy awakens from a coma to discover he’s been given an artificial organ of his own. His new condition hampers his performance, putting him in debt and ultimately in the same position as his old targets, subject to repossession.

Repo Men certainly had a rough run with the critics, but the fascinating premise is more than enough to draw you in. For those of you who take the bait, the DVD will run you $29.98 and the BD $39.98, both of which include the theatrical and unrated versions of the film. You’ll also get deleted scenes, commercials for The Union, an “Inside the Visual Effects” featurette, and some more unannounced goodies. At the moment, upgrading to Blu-ray will only tack on BD-Live, social BLU and pocket BLU.

Perhaps more bonus material will be revealed as we get closer to the release date, but for now, check out the early box art courtesy of DVD Active.
