If The Dark Knight had been ready to go as the credits for Batman Begins rolled I would have happily sat through it then and there. Unfortunately we have had to wait for the new film, at least now we now know when the wait will end.
According to SuperheroHype Warner Brothers has announced the release date as July 18th 2008. That is still one hell of a long time to wait for what promises to be the next step in superhero ass kickery. The Dark Knight will reunite Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, and Michael Caine. Heath Ledger will join the cast as The Joker, and nearly every actor within a fifty mile radius of LA will play Harvey Dent.
