Legends Unite In New Rise Of The Guardians Poster

Previously released posters for DreamWorks' 3D computer-animated fantasy-adventure film Rise of the Guardians showed off the individual characters, including one dark looking villain. The latest poster puts the heroes together, with no Pitch in sight.

Directed by Peter Ramsey, Rise of the Guardians has some familiar heroes joining forces against a dark villain named Pitch, who's plotting world domination. Will Jack Frost, the Easter Bunny, the Sandman, the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus be able to save the day? The poster below, courtesy of Yahoo, does inspire some measure of confidence that these heroes are up to the task.

Thoughts of the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny don't exactly bring to mind a heroic image, but the previously released posters, which gave us a look at each individual character, paint a more exciting and brave portrait of each of these legendary faces. And the above poster, which is set under the words "Legends Unite" multiplies that by five. From their poses to their weapons and confident expressions, there's definitely a protective-vibe coming off of them.

Rise of the Guardians features a number of celebrity voices, including Jude Law, who plays the villainous Pitch, while Chris Pine voices Jack Frost, Alec Baldwin is Santa Claus, Hugh Jackman is the Easter Bunny (ha!), and Isla Fisher is the Tooth Fairy. The Sandman is apparently without a voice.

Rise of the Guardians will arrive in theaters November 21. More information can be found in our Blend Film Database.
