Potter Goes Bollywood?

With work progressing on Goblet Of Fire for it's release next November, the big issue is who will get the reigns of the fifth movie in the series? And will there be any of the original cast returning. Well the latter is still more up in the air than a Snitch on heat, but it seems at least one person has been offered the director's chair - Indian director Mira Nair.

Nair has a 25 year career directing movies in her native India and a couple of low key western dramas and has now been offered the chance to direct the adaptation JK Rowling's most recent novel. She said;

"I'm not letting all this go to my head. I'm grounded. I practice detachment, it helps me keep my balance. I'm a Dilliwalli, only an asana gets me on my head! My son Zoharan's excited. I've seen all the Harry Potter movies with him."

I'm not 100% sure what that means, but hey...

No confirmation or acceptance or anything from the almighty WB so we'll just have to wait and see how this one pans out
